Jennifer Barber

I have built a business division from zero, developed international operations and partnerships, commercialized novel technology, and worked across private companies, investors, governments and international institutions.

The settings have varied, but the underlying challenge has been remarkably consistent: an organization has decided to do something new, and the business transformation required to make it work still has to be built.

Across that work, I have worked alongside founders and CEOs, divisional and operating leaders, scientists and engineers, investors, lawyers, regulators and policymakers, and commercial teams.

My role is to get far enough into the work to understand what matters, see where one decision changes another, and exercise sound judgment across the whole initiative. I am comfortable working with incomplete information, testing assumptions against reality, and staying accountable as the work unfolds.

My work has taken me across the United States, Europe and Latin America. I work in English and Spanish and speak conversational French. My background spans anthropology, physics, natural-resource management, finance and AI strategy, and I have served as an independent expert with the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation.
